March 16th and 24th 2012 Shows

March 24, 2012

Two shows for the price of one blog. Clif and Glenn have been pretty busy selling cars and making friends so check out two weeks shows and enjoy the day. First show featured Regan Tofoya modified car racer at Aztec Speedway explaining the ins and outs of racing that class. Then we explored why the price of gas is soooo ridicules, where John Huntsman is working, who is buying houses in Detroit, and how much money did Mercedes loose on each and every Maybach Sedan (-$439,000). How to pronounce Abarth, mood lights in cars and what CR thought were the worst cars in 2012 rounded out the show. As usual thanks for listening and don’t forget to check out http://www.horacenissan.com.

March 10th, 2012 Show

March 10, 2012

Four Corners Car Talk is not a political talk show, it just seems to get that way. What with all the politics in the car business it’s hard to avoid. Clif and Glenn discussed a good article that dovetailed with Cliff’s theory that political intervention actually stifles innovation not helps innovation. Penske switches his NASCAR team to Ford (from Dodge), hell froze over and Lexus finds out kids are picking out the rich folks cars for them. Dodge to offer CNG conversion this summer. Will Carrington become a household name in Jeep land? Could it become the AMG to Mercedes, the Saleen to Mustang the Shelby to Ford; stay tuned…

March 3rd, 2012 Show

March 3, 2012

Learned a lot about mortgages with Jason Little of Gencor Mortgage and the differences between them and auto loans. Glenn discussed where not to park your car during an ice fishing tournament, how a guy in prison is sueing an art gallery over stealing art off his now defunct Pakard plant. Clif discussed earworms, Karma and whether it’s a good idea to base chevy commercials around sitcoms like the “Office”. Glenn can’t wait. As always thanks for listening. http://www.horacehyundai.com
